I'm Elizabeth, founder of e.c moves! My passion for fitness started in 2018 as a way to cross train as a dancer. As a current professional dancer it's important to keep my body fit and mobile for the rigor dance requires. I realized pretty quickly that my body felt great after barre workouts and I was seeing results I wanted, but was missing the feel of community and support. I was doing barre through an app, but never felt connected to the community and when I took live classes I was just another face on the screen and was never recognized or even reached out to. Even though I was seeing results, I knew that there was something missing, so In 2021 I received Barre certification and started developing my own style of barre. Soon after I started teaching barre classes online and building a small community.  I love moving the body through dance and fitness and want to inspire others to move everyday.

Aside from fitness, I dance, choreograph, and teach. I have a BFA, dance degree from Peabody Conservatory at the Johns Hopkins University. I love reading a good book, going for walks, bullet journaling and dogs!

Working out isn’t supposed to be miserable or make you feel bad about yourself, in fact it’s the opposite. My goal is to show others that working out is fun, it should put a smile on your face and make you feel good about moving! Aside from fitness, I dance, choreograph, and teach. I have a BFA, dance degree from Peabody Conservatory at the Johns Hopkins University. I love reading a good book, going for walks, bullet journaling and dogs!

Throughout my classes I want to teach how to have a healthy relationship with fitness. How to celebrate the body through movement. I will encourage, help and support my clients to develop a fitness routine, commitment to themself and to challenge themselves. I have a huge passion for movement and I want to inspire others to enjoy fitness as well.

To keep people consistent with fitness and getting over the burnout stages, pushing through the tiredness and encouraging them when motivation is at zero. Because let’s be honest, we are not all 100% motivated 24/7. I will help others develop self-discipline, internal motivation, and how to listen to the body by knowing what workouts to do on days when you can’t give your all.

I will encourage my students to connect with each other, take classes together and build an ec moves community based on support, encouragement and uplifting everyone!  I’m here to help others build a healthy relationship with fitness and celebrate the body through movement!
